Game #6 4/23/50 @Minneapolis
The Lakers blew out Syracuse in game that was more of a boxing card than a basketball game. There were 3 fights in the 1st period alone. The fight card read: Seymour vs. Pollard, Gabor vs. Carlson & Gabor vs. Martin. Police had to intervene to restore order on the court. The Lakers led by 12 at the half and by as many as 25 in the 4th period. Al Cervi was tossed midway thru the 3rd period as Minneapolis reached the century mark for the 8th time in the ’49-50
season.
