The East won only by one, despite began the fourth quarter winning by 16.
Two players carried the East to the victory, Oscar Robertson and the MVP Jerry Lucas (25 points and 10 rebounds).
The best in the West was Gus Johnson with 28 points and Wilt Chamberlain (20 points and 16 rebounds).
Wilt the same night of the game, was transfered from San Francisco to Philadelphia.
