Because of the great
score (150-130) there were a lot of heroes in this edition.
The high scorer, Wilt Chamberlain with 42 points (a new record), but in the
West four players made differences.
Walt Bellamy made 23 points and 17 rebounds, Elgin baylor got 32 points, and
Oscar Robertson 26 points and 13 assists. But the MVP went to Bob Pettit,
with 25 points and 27 rebounds (all history rebounder record in a All Star).
The West team based his triumph in a great second half with 86 points (45
+ 41).
